Official Start of Fandom For Sexual Assault Awareness

March 1st marks the first official day for the efforts of Fandom For Sexual Assault Awareness.

As of this morning, we had over 90 fabulous and giving authors confirmed to donate either a one shot, outtake or original fiction for our compilation. We have also managed to raise, without much promotion mind you, over $500 USD. This is wonderful and we are so excited to spend the next 3 months, yes… 3 months, raising money and awareness for this superb cause.

Keep an eye on the list of authors, as we are still hunting down people to encourage them to donate their time and effort to our compilation. If you would like to contribute, please click here and fill out the form towards the bottom of the page. More information for authors can be found under the ‘Contributing Authors’ page.

If you would like to donate towards the cause, we encourage you to donate as much as you can, but as little as $5 gets you the completed compilation when it is done at the end of June. Please donate to a sexual assault charity in your home country and email us a copy of the receipt at We will send you a confirmation via email once your donation has been processed for our records.

Also, we encourage you to keep an eye on our calendar of events. We will be running a #readalong in April as well as taking over some wonderful blogs that have volunteered to help spread the word of Fandom For Sexual Assault Awareness. We have teamed up with the great women over at TwiFicTrivia to take over their trivia contest for the month of April. Each question asked in that month will be from an author who is contributing to our efforts… yet another great reason to sign up to be a contributing author!

If you have any suggestions for fandom events, other ways to raise awareness or money for our cause, please contact us!
